VACANCY:STORE ASSISTANT

An Automobile Manufacturing plant currently seek to recruit an experienced individual with a history of successful performance to function as a Store Assistant in our plant in Ogun State.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;

 Monitors and request for replenishment of consumable stocks of manufacturing parts.
 Performs inspection and verification of deliveries made to stores warehouse location, including assisting in prompt recording of permanent stock identification information, description, quantity, cost etc. to ensure proper inventory accuracy in the physical inventory and online software.
 The individual keeps in mind the fundamentals of inventory control.
 Ensuring that stocks are adequate as per the invoice and Purchase Order, not under supplied or expired.
 This individual is familiar with the store layout according to the company’s standards and guidelines.
 Periodically participates in physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of records versus actual physical counts and assists in resolving discrepancies.
 Organizes and maintains orderly appearance of warehouse shelves, bins and stock keeping locations.
 Responsible for keeping the store clean and tidy.

Qualification /Experience;
 Minimum of OND in Inventory Management, Accounting or equivalent courses.
 Minimum of one (1) year experience in Inventory and Stocktaking.
 Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
 Strong oral & verbal communication skills.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs including Excel.
 Active team player with high level of integrity.
