How to use your e-mail list if you don’t have an idea on how to use it?

Email marketing is one of the most effective way to get through to your customers and also one of the cheapest online strategy to advertise your business and also to remind you customers of any special offers. Not only that email marketing is also an effective way for bloggers to get traffic to your blog if you are still battling with your search engine optimization (SEO) which can be add this day to get right days. Not to talk much I will be showing you the ways on how to use the email list you are about to download or have downloaded from some random website

                                                 

The first on the list is phplist. Phplist is an open source email marketing site which allows you to upload the emails you have downloaded in either txt or csv format, phplist doesn’t have too many attractive templates like the others, but it sure gives you the freedom to send bulk email to people you know and don’t know and it also doesn’t also have some cool features so don’t expect much. But if you can think outside the box you can create some cool template for phplist which will attract your subscribers.

After you have downloaded your email, note not all the email you downloaded are actually working, some will eventually soft or hard bounce back so do take your time to verify these email from email verifying site.

Secondly copy all the emails to notepad++ to check for errors and also to delete the irrelevant once cause most this email being downloaded are full of junk so take your time and filter them well. After you have done all this logon to phplist.com and sign up and you are good to upload your contact which will be shown in the video below.

                                    

Mail chimp is my favorite email marketing software not to compare it has more feature that phplist and they also have their android application which has almost the same user interface like there website, so you all need to visit the website once in a while maybe when you want to upload your contact list. Unlike phplist Mail chimp gives you free 12000 email credit every month, which means you can send 12000 emails to your subscribers and upload 2000 email subscribers. But note if you have downloaded emails from online especially if its uk email it might not work, although it will upload but you will be getting an error message so the only emails you can use is Nigeria email or emails from Africans countries. The only way you can use uk and us emails is when they subscribe by them self to your blog apart from that when you upload your 100plus uk email it will be given an error message so don’t bother to upload them. But it will surely work with phplist
